Reflections of Leadership: Choosing Steady Over Loud
Tue, Jan 13, 2026
There were times in my career when the pressure felt constant — stress was high, and I wasn’t always providing the clarity or guidance my team deserved.
In those moments, it was hard to show restraint.
More than a few times, I defaulted to a knee-jerk reaction instead of pausing, thinking it through, and responding with intention.
Experience taught me something simple, but not easy:
Not every moment needs a reaction.
Some need restraint.
Leadership isn’t about responding the fastest.
It’s about responding thoughtfully.
